The Pho3nix Kids Triathlon series
The Pho3nix Kids Triathlon series is coming to Pattana Sports Club, the largest state-of-the art sports performance resort in the Eastern Region of Thailand. The third race of this Thailand wide series is on 28 May 2022. The swim will take place in Pattana’s new 50m pool with the bike and run contested within the resort. A sell out is expected for this event so make sure you sign up before it’s too late.
Pho3nix Kids Learn to Swim program participants to take part in their first ever triathlon
Pattana Sports Resort, a state-of-the art sports resort, is not only the host venue for the Pho3nix Kids Triathlon but has also been running the Pho3nix Kids Learn to Swim program for fifty children from the local community since February as part of the Pho3nix Kids educational program. The 12-week program will conclude in race week and all kids from the Pho3nix Kids Learn to Swim will now participate in their first triathlon putting their newly acquired swimming skills to the test in a race environment. 4-time triathlon world champion and Pho3nix Foundation board member Chris “Macca” McCormack got in the pool for the launch of the program in February for some hands on teaching.

Pho3nix Kids is a global initiative by the Pho3nix Foundation, a charitable foundation, founded in early 2020 by Polish businessman and philanthropist Sebastian Kulczyk. The foundation’s vision is to create a worldwide legacy in which sport and activity are integral to the personal development of all young people, fostering a sense of purpose, focus and possibility that strengthens across generations. The event series are part of a whole range of educational initiatives aimed at giving children of all socioeconomic backgrounds the opportunity to be active and take part in sports.
The program has expanded from Poland and has launched with dual Olympic medallist Nicola Spirig in Switzerland, dual Olympic champion Alistair Brownlee through the Brownlee Foundation in the UK, 7-time world champion Javier Gomez in Spain, and McCormack in Australia.
More than 60,000 children have so far participated in Pho3nix Kids initiatives globally.
